She was born in Santa Monica in California on 26 November 1986. She is the only daughter of Vincenzo Barba. In the year 2006, they moved with their parents with their family members to Point Pleasant New Jersey. She completed her high school studies at the age of six in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. She graduated from Catholic University in New Jersey with a Bachelor's Degree. Since the age of four, she has been a violinist, Violingirl was her nickname. Because of her talent the violinist was referred to by this name. Her neighborhood kids were also taught to play violin through her. As she was turning 19 she sang Free 1976 in American Idol in the 6th season. The singer was eliminated after she was ranked 16th on American Idol. She has sung several songs like 2009's "The Christmas Song' and the 2010's Out for Blood. She has also performed on various programs on television, including Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba is an American singer who rose to fame during the 6th season of American Idol. Following her elimination from the top 16 of American Idol, the singer began acting on screen. She played in some minor movies in addition to appearing on Fear Factor season 12 in contestant roles. Daily Mail stated that she was sentenced on the 21st of November in 2019 to a total of 4 years in jail in connection with a conspiracy to spread Fentanyl. On July 21, the artist confessed to possessing over 400 grams of Fentanyl on her person in the hopes of selling the drug. She was however arrested in Virginia, in October 2018, when she attempted to transport two pounds of fentanyl to a stashhouse.
