It is possible that an agent declined the role for her without informing her. Glen Larson, who had provided her with the first draft script of a character in the television series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. She initially rejected the role because the character didn't seem robust. Glen developed a different character to play Sheba and it was more powerful. After she read the initial 25 pages of the story The Living Legend she accepted the part immediately. It ran for a single season. She appeared in Joyride (1977) which was a film in which she co-starred as well as was in the film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
