Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is a journalist writer, author and anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day." She is a resident of Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's board trustees. Camerota's three decades of journalism have included stories across the country and internationally. Furthermore, she has won several awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award as well as an Emmy Award. Johnna G. Torsone, from Stamford was made honorary trustee for her service as a trustee on the Board from 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport became board chair following a tenure on the Board in 2013. Czekaj Farber takes over from Barbara Streicker from Westport who was chair of the board in the past year and continued in that position since 2006. Board of trustees members include 26 members.
