Sarah Jessica Parker (born Sarah Jessica Parker) is an American actor, producer and model. Her fame was based on her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw in the popular TV series 'Sex and the City'. The show, which ran on HBO for 6 years, has been a huge hit all over the world which won seven Emmy Awards from fifty nominated series. Parker herself earned two Emmys in two categories for her role in the show. The same character was played by Parker again in the movie "Sex and the city.' This was the sequel to the television series. The film became a massive commercial success. The film was followed with another sequel, 'Sex and the City 2,' which again turned out to be a financial success. Parker was a part of many other movies, including 'Honeymoon in Vegas', Failure to Launch, ?Escape from Planet Earth ?, and ?All Roads Lead to Rome ?. Recent television credits for Parker include a role on the show 'Divorce' which has been running on HBO for the past two seasons. Alongside acting, she's developed several lines of her own.
